Welcome, my name is Mike Marino, and my purpose for this site is to share some of the happy memories with friends and family who have blessed my life with their presence and support for these past 27 years. The First AB Hunt was in 1984, and we've missed only
four years, making 2011 the 24th Annual AB Hunt.

AB Hunting
The AB Hunt is an almost annual event where friends and their families get together for Camping at a beautiful Redwood Forest in Northern California, and where AB Divers go Free Diving in the Ocean for that rare delicacy, the AB, i.e. Abalone, aka Haliotis Rufecens, culminating in the Great AB Feast on Saturday Nite. Often, when the AB Hunt is successful, there is subsequent feasting, on AB of course, at a friend's place on a later date.
To ALL Friends who plan to attend AB Hunt 2011:

Submission will indicate your COMMITMENT to attend, and your agreement to pay the Camp Fees, whether you eventually are able to show up or not. These Fees are non-refundable. Also, please indicate if you have a Tent that we can use to help reserve your campsite, please indicate if you can drop it off at Mike's or Larry's before 7/31/2011.

$23.00 per Night Camp Fees
(Additional Fees (TBD) for Campsites on "Hold" prior to your arrival, and/or RV's)

We had an awesome time at AB Hunt 2010, and this year promises to be even better! We're going back to Chuck's Awesome AB Hole! where we plan to get some more ABs this year.
